Maui Whale Watching Trips! Maui whale watching trips!

The Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary was created by Congress in 1992 to protect humpback whales and their habitat in Hawai`i. The sanctuary, which lies within the shallow (less than 600 feet), warm waters surrounding the main Hawaiian Islands, constitutes one of the world’s most important humpback whale habitats. Our Maui whale watching trips take you to the heart of this sanctuary. The waters between the islands that comprise Maui County are a safe respite from the vast deep ocean surrounding our islands. The waters outside the underwater crater that is Maui County are thousands upon thousands of feet deep. It must feel like the perfect place to birth and protect thier brand new calves in our mere hundreds of feet of water. Maui whale watching trips are a must if you will be in the islands between December and May. Our private charters are the perfect way to see these gentle giants. We only take small groups which means you will never be peering through strangers to catch a glimpse or a picture. Our tours are self directed so that we can spend more time whale watching and less time travelling. We like to find our own whales instead of joining the crowds around groups of whales closer to the harbor. Our small groups allow you to get some really great photos and videos as well. You will never be peering over anyones shoulder for a glimpse or a shot. Our Maui whale watching trips can truly be and experience of a lifetime. We offer three different vessels for your Maui whale watching trips. Wether you are an early riser or more of an afternoon type, we have a trip for you.
